A sunrise and sunset just for you.

Welcome. Thank you for joining me on this adventure into Christ centered fiction. I hope you’re as excited as I am. Now, a little about me.
My greatest blessing is my large family, which includes my husband, three children, and fifteen grandchildren. They fill my life with joy and sadness and every emotion in between, and that is what makes us strong. Our eldest grandchild is engaged to be married in April of 2022. Our grandchildren keep us on our toes with school events, dance recitals, vocal and instrumental concerts, and sports. We treasure every minute spent with the grands.
I was born a Californian and reluctantly became a Missourian in November of 1975. God knew where I belonged, even if my sixteen-year-old self did not. I still live just outside the same small town in the Missouri Ozarks where my parents transplanted me all those years ago.
I met the love of my life just after high school graduation and married him a year and a half later. After many years of marriage, we’re still in love. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and a jack of all trades. He keeps my life interesting.
I won awards in marketing and economics while in college as a young adult. I worked creating advertising for our local community college and three local newspapers. I was an accounts manager for a steel company, and as an office manager in a busy dental practice. While working in that dental practice, I received training as a dental assistant and enjoyed assisting with surgical procedures. When my boss retired, I pursued a nursing degree. I practiced nursing for many years before retiring. Now I am mastering the art of writing for your enjoyment and mine.
My husband and I love to travel and have been from coast to coast, border to border, and into Canada. We both have Germanic ancestry. We traveled to Austria and Germany, finding our roots in Bludenz, Salzburg, Zell am See, Obernberg am Inn and Passau. The best part of our trip was the blessing of getting to know our family living in Bludenz, Austria. We loved the ocean and lobster in Maine and the wildlife in Montana and Canada. My photo app is full of pictures of mountains, rock formations, beaches, flowers, trees, sunrises, and sunsets.
I love the Lord and serve him in my local congregation and community. I write Christ-centered fiction, and my prayer is to lead people to Christ through storytelling.

Just a few pictures from our last trip. The first five photos are in or near Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah. The others are mountain scenes in New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado. I take lots of pictures, and I’ll share more in my blog posts.
