Denice Perkins is a proud wife, mother of three, and grandmother to fifteen. Her days are filled with writing, reading, gardening, baking, cooking, crafts, and often chauffeuring grandkids to school, scouts, or dance. Family is her heart, and she treasures being present for all of life’s little moments.

Born in California and a Missourian by choice, Denice has lived just outside a small town in the Missouri Ozarks since her parents moved there when she was sixteen. She met the love of her life shortly after high school graduation and married him a year and a half later. Decades later, they’re still in love. Her husband—an avid hunter, fisherman, and jack of all trades—keeps life interesting.

Denice has a background in marketing, journalism, and healthcare. She’s worked in newspaper advertising, business management, and dental assisting before earning her nursing degree and spending many years caring for others. Now retired, she’s devoted to mastering the craft of storytelling.

A committed Christian, Denice serves faithfully at her local church and writes fiction rooted in Christ-centered values. Her greatest hope is to lead people to Christ through storytelling.
